I'm still surprised that more schools don't go year round. I taught at a year round school for eight years and loved it! It now is back to traditional. As much as I understand parents desire for a summer, year round is hands down, much better for students' with respect to learning and retention. Melissa Thanks, Bianca for the reminder and links.
