Feet got bigger, heel to toe. Time for new shoes. Off we go! Hippo needs new shoes. Maybe she’ll choose shoes with glitter and jewels or shoes that roll on wheels or shoes with bows. There are so many choices! Will Hippo find the perfect pair? Endearing graphite-and-ink illustrations by Mike Laughead show that choosing a new pair of shoes has never been more fun! (Ages 3 and up)
Should we shop now? I say, Yes! Mom says I can choose a dress! Hippo is looking for a new dress. There are so many choices! Dresses with beads and fringe, dresses with shiny sequins, dresses with stripes and checkers, and more! Watch me as I try them all! Will Hippo find the perfect dress? Sue Fliess’s rhyming text and Mike Laughead’s adorable digital illustrations bring to life Hippo’s exciting day at the mall. (Ages 3 and up)
Big trucks, small trucks, dump trucks, tow trucks, and all kinds of other trucks can be found in this playful touch-and-move book. A backhoe scoops and digs, a cement truck spins, a tar truck oozes sticky tar, and tabs pull up and out to reveal surprises. The trucks eventually slow down for a rest, where little hands can lift the flaps to see animals snuggling up for sleepy-time—under a rising moon. Filled with vibrant art and adorable characters, this book gives a child everything he’s looking for when he presses his face against the fence at a construction site! (Ages 0-4)
