QUESTion: Where are the Watchers trapped? [Email the answer, found somewhere below, to yrmarketing@us.penguingroup.com for the chance to win one of five hardcover copies of Falling Kingdoms!]

Excerpt: “Ionnes hesitated. Despite his agreement with the others, he was duty bound to tell the elders what they wished to know – and he trusted Timotheus. But something about this felt fragile, like a small seedling that hadn’t yet taken root. If he was wrong, it would make him look like a fool to raise an alarm.” – Chapter Four, FALLING KINGDOMS

From Morgan: The Watchers are a legend told to children about eternal, magical beings who watch mortals through the eyes of hawks. What better way to keep children in line than to tell them that they’re constantly being watched to keep them from being naughty!

Or…is it just a story? Maybe the Watchers are real – this race of golden, beautiful people that make their home in the crystal Sanctuary rumored to exist somewhere in the vast and dangerous Forbidden Mountains in the east of Paelsia. These immortal Watchers are trapped in the Sanctuary, only able to enter the mortal world in the form of hawks. They are rumored to take this form so they can continue the search for the Kindred, four crystals that contain the essence of elementia—elemental magic—that were lost a millennium ago.

This elementia powers not only their world but the mortal world as well. And if they don’t find the Kindred soon…well, let’s just say, there will be great trouble ahead…

Tomorrow, head over to Literary Rambles to find the answer to your next QUESTion, then email the answer to yrmarketing@us.penguingroup.com for a chance to win a copy of Falling Kingdoms!
