I’d love to see other ways than physical books to integrate literacy into my child’s life! We love our physical books but as my daughter gets older, she wants more and more to be playing with technology and I’m not quite sure what to try!

Childrens books are SO important! I can’t stress how important it is for a child to be able to read and use their own imagination as they go! I don’t want my child having to have this world create an imagination for them I want them to sit down in a reading center in our home and get lost in an adventure, mystery, or know how to be a hero! I love childrens books and seeing how technology is working with children so they can use technology and read their books. They not only learn how to use technology but how to use it right and be productive with it.

I would love to see a children’s reading video…..where someone reads a book on video to children. Our library used to read a book over the phone….my children loved this when they were little. But technology today could use YouTube to have a reading time. Thank you for the opportunity.

You all do a wonderful job helping people to encourage their children to read. Its important to start reading to your children when they are very young. One of my grandson’s had a difficult time learning to read. But then one of his teachers found a book that just clicked with him and it was like a lightbulb went off on his mind and now he loves reading.

I think reading is a very important part of life. It is also very enjoyable. There are Children’s books that I read as a child, that I still love to read.

I find this site educational for me because it keeps me updated to what children are reading or children authors I don’t know about. I try to donate the books I win on giveaways to my local library. Libraries could use books especially nearly new books.

My daughters love books about history or geography. One loves to learn about faraway lands, and one likes to learn about different times in history, such as Roman times, or medieval times. So we would appreciate more books in those subjects. Thanks! 😉

Reading is so very important for children. I seen a comment about someone wanting to incorporate tech into reading for her child. So if you don’t already have ebook links for Nook or Kindle, this would be great to add.
