Learning about new cultures is not only interesting, it provides a way of understanding that not everyone thinks like you do and that’s not only okay, but great.

I want this for my grandchildren. Our world is so closely connected today and we all need to understand and be welcoming to people of all cultures. We learn so much from each other and enrich each other’s lives! This is a great way to start that education of children,

I really want to win this for my son. It’s a perfect combo. He loves to read especially about other parts of the world. He’s also been wanting a tablet of his own and he’s getting to the age where I think he would be responsible with having one and taking care of it.

I would love to win this for my daughter. Learning about other cultures is important because it teaches them to be more accepting of things and people who are different than they are and it sparks their curiosity to find ways that they are also similar.

Main reason I would like to win is because my son asked for a tablet for Christmas. Winning this would ease the finances on our end because sadly… we are Santa!
Learning about cultures is super important to me as I want my children to be well rounded. I luckily live in a city where there are many cultures around. In the summer months we attend festivals of other cultures than our own. When you teach your children of the way others live they are less likely to grow up narrow minded (my husband was not exposed as a child and I see how that translates to a adult. It frustrates me so much and I think that is more of a reason to educate our children).
