    Dynomike- What's HeartfulnessDynomike: What’s Heartfulness?

    Written by Frankie B. Rabbit

    Illustrated by Don Suratos

    Age Range: 4 and up

    Paperback: 64 pages

Publisher: Independently published (October 2, 2018)

    ISBN: 978-1724109026

What to expect: Social-Emotional learning, Rhyme

Dynomike and his friends want Jack Brussels to come biking with them. Sadly, Jack’s mother is sick and he needs to stay home with her until she feels better. Everyone involved is disappointed. Dynomike and his bike crew wonder what they can do to help so that Jack can join them outside. They ponder some comical notions until Dynomike comes up with a word that inspires ideas a plenty: heartfulness. His friends are not entirely sure what this word means, so Dynomike jumps to it and explains the thoughtful concept to his pals.

    “Heartfulness is about being kind.

Send kindness to all, one thought at a time.”

The title word, heartfulness, inspires some kind and caring acts that soon have Jack’s mother feeling much better, and Jack enjoying a nice sunny day peddling around on his bike with his kindhearted friends.

True to the author’s background as a rapper, the spunky, moralistic text zips along with an energetic beat that sounds great when read aloud—children with a musical ear will certainly enjoy listening along and musing over the brightly appealing cartoon illustrations of Dynomike (a rad looking dinosaur) and his gang of animal friends.

Dynomike: What’s Heartfulness? offers plenty of fun, fun, fun for spirited young readers ages 4 and up.
