I volunteer for my community library and during the shutdown we have been making outdoor “story walks” which we change every other week. On each board there is also an activity to make it interactive. The most recent one involved making a chalk drawing on the sidewalk adjacent to the sign for “Sky Color” by Peter H. Reynolds.

Sounds like a wonderful read. My youngest grandson could use the concept Think Outside. The Box. Right now he mimics his brother in all things ( which is normal ) but it would be a good thing for him to try things on his own.

Everyday can use creativity. Today is a creative cookie making day, others are for watercolors, or using old cardboard boxes. Some days are for telling new stories and some for imagining new adventures on our walks outside. All good fun!
