    {Fatou’s} Bedtime Stories

    Written by NAMEE

    Illustrated by Jules Dubost

    Ages 0-6 | 24 Pages

    Publisher: Namee

{Fatou’s} Bedtime Stories is a personalized collection of bedtime tales that combine gentle humor and knowledge about the animal kingdom to lull readers into a state of sleepy relaxation.

Sometimes it can be hard to fall asleep. Luca is lucky though—he has lots of animal friends to make bedtime more exciting! As he tries to settle himself down for the night, he meets otters who sleep floating on the water, monkeys who sleep in trees, foxes who sleep under the ground, and pandas who sleep in very peculiar positions! They invite Luca to try sleeping like them, so Luca tries chasing yarn like a kitten, snuggling down in hay like a wooly sheep, and yawning wide like a lion. Trying out all these new and exciting ways to sleep doesn’t just help Luca learn about the animal kingdom; it also makes him feel nice and relaxed… and sleeeepy!

The stories use a clever combination of rhyme, rhythm and carefully chosen sound words for a soothing auditory experience. The text provides subtle instruction and new vocabulary about animals and geography for readers and listeners who resist the urge to close their eyes. Detailed illustrations allow listeners to explore the unique environments that Luca visits. The publishers offer a range of customization options: as well as featuring the child’s name; these books also allow you to specify hair, eye, and skin details, which stories are included, and even add a personal dedication.

{Fatou’s} Bedtime Stories is a charming collection of stories that is sure to help little ones drift off to sleep.
