“The big science fair at Ringgold Valley Elementary school is just one day away and Lisa and Brian need moon dust for their exhibit. Where do you find moon dust? On the moon, of course! How do fourth graders get to the moon? With a Realoscope!”

My name is Lance Justin Peter Okones! I am a new childrens author from Sigourney Iowa. My first children’s science fiction/fantasy book has just been released, ‘The Realoscope of Ringgold Valley.’

The books are made of recycled materials so they’re environment friendly.

Realoscope books are fun reading and there’s a mix of fact in with the fiction. For instance, the alien in the story lives on Cruithne (pronouced ‘Croo-een-yah’), and it is a real place. It’s an asteroid that orbits the sun and follows a path that keeps it close to Earth. It doesn’t really orbit Earth like Deedle (the alien character in the story) asserts, but some people do call it Earth’s second satellite. In book two (not released yet) the main characters ‘Lisa and Brian’ will visit Deedle there.

The details of the moon dust are great; you can almost feel the surface under your feet.
