This book is about a pet dog, Barry, a very especial dog indeed, since he was born on the day his young “bosses” Gustavo and Eduardo celebrated their tenth birthday. Born and raised in Portugal, Barry lived happily in his nice house surrounded by a garden until the day his human family moved to Belgium and made up their mind to take him with them. Barry did not like the idea of making such a long car trip; he had never been inside a car in his life! He tried to escape but got caught and had to be resigned to his family’s wishes. Barry was sad and angry, and when the car stopped in Spain and he was put on a leash, he thought he had had enough and decided to punish his family for what they were doing to him. He managed to get loose and ran away… and lost track of his family. What happened next is what you’ll find out when reading the whole story. But all’s well that ends well and, as you may guess, Barry soon learned how to enjoy traveling by car.

And as Barry is such an amazing pet dog, he even runs his own website www.barry4kids.net (in four languages) for children to learn with fun.

Barry’s Adventure is offered in the eBook and paperback venues and sold through publisher, Trafford Publishing, and on Amazon.com.

Dulce Rodrigues loves children and, as she uses to say, she is old enough to be a grandmother but she still does not have grandchildren and she writes her books for all the children in the world. Barry’s Adventure is the English version of her first children’s book published in French and Portuguese a few years ago. She took an enormous pleasure in writting this story and she sincerely hopes children from 6 to 96  will as well enjoy reading it.
