We’ve reviewed several titles from Chronicle Books in the past few months and we’re happy to report that the publisher has some interesting new websites to promote several of their most popular books.

Duck! Rabbit!, a fun story about an optical illusion, geared to preschoolers, has made it to the NY Times bestselling children’s books list. It is also one of the lucky books to get its own mini website. The site, https://www.chroniclebooks.com/duck-rabbit.html has videos, desktop wallpaper, printable posters and a teacher’s guide for you to check out.

The Little Books series, Little Pea, Little Hoot and Little Oink, also have a newly inaugurated website: https://www.chroniclebooks.com/littlebooks/. The charming series for preschoolers revolves around unconventional characters: Little Pea, who doesn’t want to eat his sweets; Little Hoot, who wants to go to sleep at a decent hour; and Little Oink, who just wants to be neat and clean. The new website includes fun songs, videos, posters and guides as well as a sweepstakes for free merchandise!

The Horse Crazy books (there are two already published and two slated for Fall 2009) for 5-8 year olds, tell the stories of two friends in Australia and their adventures with several beautiful horses. The series has its own mini site, https://www.chroniclebooks.com/horsecrazy/, that includes details about each of the horses in the series, fun videos, a quiz, party invitations and e-cards.
