Tomi Ungerer, Bruno Munari, Maurice Sendak. Classic choices, but they were very innovative in their times.

All-time favorite children’s book you didn’t illustrate…

Little Blue and Little Yellow by Leo Lionni, showed me how to be creative and expressive with such simple materials

A literary character to create art with …

I would prefer a musician and forever it will be Miles Davis. He had creativity, improvisation, energy, was always innovative and a lot of confidence and trust in the musicians he played with.

A book that explains the way I lead my workshops with children.
