TCBR: Can you tell us about your book Wow, What a Ride?

Kathe: Wow, What A Ride! has brought me much joy and I know that once you experience the adventure of Wow, What A Ride! you will want to return again and again.

TCBR: What was is that inspired you to write this particular story?

Kathe: I had so many ideas from my own family adventures, and from the great and memorable times we have had together.

TCBR:
What is the most important lesson you hope readers will learn from your book?

Kathe: An important lesson I hope the readers will learn is that reading should be a time for sharing and expanding minds together.

TCBR:  What would you say was the most surprising things you learned in creating this book?

Kathe: The most surprising thing I learned in creating this book was that I really can do it!

TCBR:  How long did it take you to complete Wow, What a Ride?

Kathe: It took me about 9 months to complete my book from editing, illustrations, layout, and printing, with the help from Betta Book Publishing.

TCBR: Are you working on anything new?

Kathe: At this time, I am working on a continuation on Wow, What A Ride! I am also working on a novel.

TCBR: Did you always aspire to be a writer and when did you first consider yourself a writer?

Kathe: I never really thought of myself as a writer, but now after publishing Wow, What A Ride! I feel like writing is something I was always meant to do.

TCBR: What do you find to be the most challenging aspect or writing for children?

Kathe: The most challenging aspect in writing for children is making sure that the pictures and writing are big and fabulous.

TCBR: What do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of writing for children?

Kathe: I have met many great people who are so willing to help Wow, What A Ride! I want to reach as many children as I can.

TCBR: Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?

Kathe: I do – remember reading to our children at an early age is so important!
