Marky Polo is excited to show his cousin Merry all over Singapore. The trouble is, Merry has a lot of energy and is not always very considerate of others! As she dashes from one attraction to another, Marky calls on all his friends to help him keep up with her as he shows her around. From the indoor waterfall and Canopy Park at Jewel Changi Airport to the light show at Gardens by the Bay, the architecture at Kampong Gelam, and the fun rides at Skyline Luge and Palawan Beach, Merry bounces from one place to another. She exhausts Marky and his friends until they introduce her to Marina the Otter, who has just as much energy as Merry!
The comic-style illustration and cartoon characters keep the story fun and relatable, and readers will enjoy laughing at Merry’s antics even as they learn more about the history and culture of Singapore. Alongside the narrative, informational boxes tell readers more about each location the characters visit. At the same time, a “fun facts” section at the end of the book provides more information about the local animals the characters are based on.

About the Author
Author Award-winning author Emily Lim-Leh is the first outside North America to win three medals for her children’s books at the IPPY awards (the world’s largest book awards) and also the first in South East Asia to win the Moonbeam Children’s Book Award.
