My first book, Wuftoom, was very dark and had a lot of deep psychological content. My second book, Escape from the Pipe Men! was a straight-up sci-fi adventure. With Evil Fairies Love Hair, I was ready to try humor. I can’t wait for people who only know me from Wuftoom to see that my world is not all gloom and doom! I owe it to folks to make them laugh!

There’s one joke that made me laugh so much, I used it twice. I hope I’m not the only one who thinks it’s funny! It involves a couple minor characters who hex each other.

Butt in chair. Also, if I’m being honest, coffee. I’ve tried to quit about a thousand times, but as of now, I’m back to tolerating amounts that could probably kill an un-acclimated elephant.
I have to say the man who did the illustrations for Evil Fairies Love Hair, Blake Henry. He perfectly expressed exactly what I was going for. And his drawings are hilarious!
