What happens when two comedians-turned-children’s-book-writers decide to write a book together? Mustached craziness! Chad and Shelly are actually married and the parents of four boys and one girl. When their daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor they were all overwhelmed with the support they received in the unexpected form of mustaches. So they decided to write a book about it. Because sometimes in our hardest times we find the beauty of humanity.

This is one of many bookshelves in our house. The fact that it’s almost organized but not quite drives Shelly crazy, but not crazy enough to be perpetually fixing it or to stop letting children riffle through the collection. We live with the philosophy that books are meant to be read. Most of the books on these shelves are autographed and yet they are often times lent out to neighbors and friends and family. Because what a sad life for a book to be shelved and not enjoyed. If you look closely you can even find our own books on the shelves.

About the Authors
CHAD MORRIS is a teacher and curriculum writer. Previously, he wrote the Cragbridge Hall series including The Inventor’s Secret, The Avatar Battle, and The Impossible Race. Books in this series won the Utah Book award and the Silver Foreword INDIES award for juvenile fiction.
SHELLY BROWN has always loved children and books so it made sense when she started writing books for children. She has worked as a comedian, a tour guide, and a shake-maker, but is currently a substitute teacher for some of the coolest kids ever.
