Book Spotlight: Sometimes I Forget You’re A Robot
The Children’s Book Review
Reading level: Ages 3-5
Hardcover: 24 pages
About the Book
For a boy who’s always wanted a robot, actually getting one isn’t what he expected at all. The robot can’t do any of the things robots are supposed to be able to do. He can’t fly, or swim, or even talk. All he does is beep beep beep like a toy. But the boy soon realizes that his robot does have a hidden talent for building tree houses – and for being a great friend.
This unexpectedly sweet story about adjusting expectations and appreciating what you have teaches us that while no one is perfect, a good friend can come close.
