For a book with out words, Wave really makes you believe and feel. It tells the story of a little girl’s day at the beach. She is looking at shells, wading in the water and teasing the waves with a ‘you can’t get me’ attitude. Well … the wave catches her, and leaves her washed up on the shore with a beautiful collection of shells. The illustrations are very simple, and capture the sweet energetic essence of their main character and the ocean. A must for any beach lover! As Mindy (from propernoun dot net) says, “A day at the beach has never been as lovely as it is in this book … don’t pass this by.”
