Little Old Bear is an illustrated book written for children aged 5 and over. It tells the story of an old Teddy bear that was “so old that he had lost his fur and his eyes and he was not the handsome little bear he had once been.” In this beautifully illustrated book, Hilda van Stockum, with warmth and humor, relays the many trials and adventures of this little old bear who eventually finds a new and loving home. Although written for children aged five and older, this is a book to be read aloud and shared with the whole family!

Little Old Bear was first published in 1962 by The Viking Press and had been out of print for nearly forty years until republished last month by Boissevain Books!

Little Old Bear is available for sale at amazon.com at $8.95. Bulk orders are available by contacting Boissevainbooks@gmail.com.
