Birthday Giveaway: Win $300+ Worth of Children’s Books
By Bianca Schulze, The Children’s Book Review
Published: March 18, 2011
The Children’s Book Review has turned three. Yep, that’s right. Three!
A year’s worth of thanks go to Luisa LaFleur, Phoebe Vreeland, Tina Vasquez, and Erik Schulze, for their extremely helpful contributions during 2010. A big thank you also goes to all of the amazingly talented authors and illustrators who gave us their time for some very fun interviews.
And … it certainly wouldn’t be a party without presents! The best part about TCBR’s birthday celebration is that you can have the presents. Well … at least one of you can. To say thank you and to giveback to our supporting readers, The Children’s Book Review is giving $300 worth of children’s books to one lucky reader—the winner even gets to pick the age range(s)/reading level(s) of the books.
But wait, there’s more! The super cool people over at Scholastic have given us five awesome books to add to the package: 1) The Dreamer by Pam Muñoz Ryan, winner of the Pura Belpre Award (2011). 2) Newbery Honor Book Rules by Cynthia Lord. 3) The Babysitters Club: The Summer Before by award-winning author Ann M. Martin. 4) Bestselling Too Many Toys by David Shannon. 5) Clifford the Champion by Norman Bridwell, who has over 44 million copies of his books in print. Did I mention that all of these books have been signed? The value: Priceless!
