Bianca Schulze is the founder of The Children’s Book Review. She is a reader, reviewer, mother and children’s book lover. She also has a decade’s worth of experience working with children in the great outdoors. Combined with her love of books and experience as a children’s specialist bookseller, the goal is to share her passion for children’s literature to grow readers. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, she now lives with her husband and three children near Boulder, Colorado.

  • I am a 6-12 English teacher. I like to use children’s illustrated books to help my student re-write a new character, parody, alternative ending etc. Children’s illustrated books also contain a lot of cultural and ethic details from around the world.

  • I would gift Photographing Your Children to the new parents on my list because you can never go back, but you can capture precious times, special times and ordinary moments in photos.

  • So many books, so little time! I would likely gift the “Yoda” book, as there are so many terrific series for girls, many of which are awesome for boys as well, but the Yoda, etc. ones are boy-tailored. Yeh, books!

  • What a great selection of books! I know my son would love the YODA book and the Drawing calendar. My nephews would love the Little Ones boxed set, cookbooks for my sister in law, and the Boo paper dolls for my niece. And perhaps I will gift myself with one or two. 😉

  • I work for a nonprofit in Nashville, TN called Book’em. We give thousands of books to economically disadvantaged children here in Nashville each year. This collection is wonderful. I hope we win it, so we can give the books to kids as gifts for the holidays. This is a fabulous campaign. Thanks for doing it.

  • Being a librarian i have always loved books. When I am looking for any kind of present (Family, holiday, shower, etc) I always include some kind of book.

    They all are great books. The One Pan-Two Plates title interests me very much.

    My niece who lives in a different state has been married 17 months.

    Last spring she called me up for ideas for meals. Her husband works long hours and this year she has a full-time job teaching kindergarten. They like to to healthily and from the titles of entrees the book looks like it would be perfect for them.

  • I love books especially children’s book. I also like cookbooks, devotionals, Bibles, and so many more. I have always enjoyed giving books to my family for the holidays.   • Love spending time in the bookstores, and love giving books. I believe there is nothing like flipping a page, or the look on a child’s face when they feel the web that spider spun in Eric Carle’s book, The Very Busy Spider!
