TRUDY LUDWIG is the author of many books for children, including My Secret Bully and Confessions of a Former Bully. An active member of the International Bullying Prevention Association, she is a sought-after speaker who collaborates frequently with organizations like The Ophelia Project, Hands & Words Are Not For Hurting Project, and Putting Family First.

Even with the ability to enjoy visually stunning film adaptations of much of his work, and the recent revival of many of Dahl’s creations, it’s important to recall not just Dahl’s ludicrous stories and plot twists, but also the wonderful fun of his unique writing style.

Suzanne Williams is the author of over 40 books for children, from picture books and easy readers to chapter books and middle grade fiction series. Her picture book, Library Lil (illustrated by Steven Kellogg) won the New Mexico children’s choice award in 2000 and was on several other state award lists. Her newest series include the Goddess Girls series (ages 8-12) and the Heroes in Training series (ages 7-10) both co-written with Joan Holub.

We’re tickled pink to have Heather Swain in The Children’s Book Review house today. She’s the author of many splendid books and her brilliant new teen novel Josie Griffin Is Not a Vampire has been touted as Twilight meets The Breakfast Club.
