This sturdy and colorful board book is another wonderful addition to the You Are My Baby series! It allows little ones to explore the ocean’s creatures and help match baby animals to their parents. This interactive board book allows a tag-team approach and won’t cause a fight over sharing. Adults can turn the larger pages to display the adult animal, while children can turn the pint-sized pages to reveal a baby animal. It really is like having two books in one!
Also, this cute book promotes cognitive matching and challenges children with the sounds these baby animals make. And the illustrations are just adorable! The illustrator, Lorena Siminovich, incorporated her simple, colorful, and modern Petit Collage designs. This book is not only enjoyable for little ones, but also for moms, because turning each page is like turning a modern nursery catalog page.
