“Silent Sally” is not your typical grade school student. While all the other kids are rowdy and not paying attention, Sally remains silent, yet highly observant. They all think she’s odd to never speak. But then one day, Sally goes to great lengths to help one of the students, and all the kids finally start to notice how much of a helper she is. As they observe her continual selfless acts, they soon learn the real meaning of being a “doer.”
Told in a “fun to read” rhyme, the fully illustrated pages visually speak volumes about all the ways Sally is a help to others. Children will be intrigued and entertained while learning right along with the other kids in the book. They will be encouraged to think of the needs of others more, and want to be their own “Silent Sally.”
