    “Actions Speak Louder Than Words”

Inide Book for Kids“When ‘Silent Sal’ finds a need,

A need where she can be

A great help to her class, her school, and her town.

    Without wasting time,

    She’s always first in line

To jump right in and get the job done.”

    —from the book

“Silent Sally” is not your typical grade school student. While all the other kids are rowdy and not paying attention, Sally remains silent, yet highly observant. They all think she’s odd to never speak. But then one day, Sally goes to great lengths to help one of the students, and all the kids finally start to notice how much of a helper she is. As they observe her continual selfless acts, they soon learn the real meaning of being a “doer.”

Told in a “fun to read” rhyme, the fully illustrated pages visually speak volumes about all the ways Sally is a help to others. Children will be intrigued and entertained while learning right along with the other kids in the book. They will be encouraged to think of the needs of others more, and want to be their own “Silent Sally.”

Written and illustrated by notable animation artist, Eric Walls, “Silent Sally” presents a positive picture that the world would be a far better place if we stopped talking and actually started doing to help others.

“It is adorable! I thoroughly enjoy seeing ‘Character Building’ in action! A read-aloud story which can enable teachers to expound upon good behavior!”

    -Sharon Wallace, Homeschool Administrator

“My children were entertained and enriched. This challenging message needs to be heard and learned by all generations.”

    – Matt Thomas, Veteran Children and Youth Pastor

Eric Walls has spent over twenty years as a character animator for numerous family feature films, including Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Meet the Robinsons, Bolt, and The Princess and the Frog. Now an accomplished author and illustrator, Eric’s newest children’s book is Silent Sally.
