    The Children’s Book Review

The Moon Show is a delightfully fun choice for young astronomers, along with any reader ready to shine brightly in the world!

What makes Earth’s moon so bright? Did you know that 170 moons have been discovered, so far, in our solar system? Uranus’ moons are all named after characters in the plays written by William Shakespeare. Planet Earth has just one moon, and it is this moon, our moon, that tours readers through the solar system on The Moon Show. The latest addition to author Carmen Gloria’s Kid Astronomy series, The Moon Show is an entertaining picture book that introduces the moons from our solar system to young readers ages four and up.

My 6 year old daughter loves all things space related. In fact, I have a YouTube video of her reading all these space facts on my channel. The Moon Show would be a great book for her.

I’ve always been interested in the moon and the stars, so this book sounds interesting. I loved the book, “A Wrinkle In Time”, as a kid, and it was about time travel. The “A Great Exploration 3-D Solar System” set really sounds neat with the over 200 glow in the dark stars and planets to hang from the ceiling.

Moon show sounds very interesting just by reading your review. I did not know there were 170 moons that have already been discovered. Leaves me tempted to keep finding out more about the moons

We are talking a lot about space right now, as I have been on a “space” themed reading spree–first “Spaceman”, then Galileo’s Daughter, as well as The Glass Universe. This book would be fun to bring the concepts back to the basics.

I am excited about this giveaway because I have a particular little fella who would absolutely love this giveaway set. The topic is one of his favorites and mine too! What I like about space and astronomy is that space is still a mystery in many ways, and yet we are constantly discovering so much new and amazing things. It really is an exciting field. Just imagine where technology might take us…
