This year, Jane Goodall, the famous British primatologist and conservationist, is the subject of two wonderful picture books: Me … Jane, written and illustrated by Patrick McDonnell; and The Watcher: Jane Goodall’s Life With the Chimps, Written and illustrated by Jeanette Winter.
