The inside scoop with Elisha Cooper
    The Children’s Book Review

We are huge fans of Caldecott Honor author-illustrator Elisha Cooper’s books over here at the TCBR headquarters! Are you a fan of cats, dogs, or finding balance and peace within your family? If so, you’re going to love his latest picture book, Yes & No, just as much as we do. It is a delightfully uncomplicated and harmonious contribution to bookshelves everywhere. Elisha shared this antidote on his website about its creation:

“Yes & No is pretty simple: puppy, cat, day. But the emotions, at least for me, became deep. Family, love. Siblings, parent. Sadness, space. The balance within a family, and the rhythm of our days. The longing we all feel – especially now – for a sense of peace.”

In this video, Elisha Cooper himself gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Yes & No. Watch it now …
