The story of Henry the Hermit Crab is about one crab’s journey to simply fit in.

Self-Published BookPRLog (Press Release) – Sep 24, 2010 – For anyone who has ever felt a little lost, or does not quite fit in where they live, then you’ve found the right place! The story of Henry the Hermit Crab is about one crab’s journey to simply fit in.

Henry is a hermit crab living in New York City, where his favorite food is pizza and his best friend is the pizza chef Rocco. The only down side of pizza is that it makes Henry grow and grow until he ends up the size of a house. Luckily along the way while living in a mailbox he finds a post card from Samoa, with a picture of a hermit crab under a palm tree on the front. Could this be his home? With help from Rocco, Henry writes a letter to the mayor of New York asking for help to get to his true home. First the mayor ignores the letter, but Henry gets so big the city can no longer house him. Now the mayor has no choice but to help Henry get back to the warm island of Samoa.

In this wonderfully illustrated and written tale inspired by author Mark McDonald’s life of travel and teaching, Henry’s lively and highly entertaining journey changes him forever. Readers will be delighted riding along with Henry on his exciting journey.

HENRY THE HERMIT CRAB: THE JOURNEY HOME (ISBN: 978-1-60976-062-5) will be available  September 23, 2010, for $$16.95 and can be ordered through the publisher’s website: Strategic Publishing Group or Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
