Attention Parents!  These are books you never knew you needed for your youngster.

Amy Pixton, a mother of triplets, created the INDESTRUCTIBLES series that consists of small (7”x7”), concept books that are chew proof, rip proof, spill proof, nontoxic, and 100% washable (even dishwasher safe).  Hearing this, I had to put them to the test with my 2 year old and my teething infant. Chew proof Books There is a reason why Pixton has sold over 400,000 books a year (and growing!): Her books lived up to their reputation. Each book explores various themes including holidays, nursery rhymes, around the home, the beach, and the body.  Most are short, simple narratives accompanied with highlighted words and their bright, colorful pictures by various illustrators. They even have a version of Baby, Let’s Eat! in Spanish.  Her latest collaboration with illustrator Maddie Frost introduces little ones to My Neighborhood; Busy City; Hello, Farm!; and 3 popular nursery rhymes will be released in April 2019! Gone are the days of chewed up edges and corners of board books all around the house.  Not only are these books baby proof, they teach as well.  To say it simply, this series is a hidden gem among all those other “baby needs” that face us in stores and online. All INDESTRUCTIBLES books have been safety-tested and meet or exceed ASTM-F963 and CPSIA guidelines.
