    Good Morning WorldGood Morning, World!

Written by Jennifer Hilton & Kristen McCurry

    Illustrated by Natasha Rimmington

    Age Range: 0 – 3

    Boardbook: 22 pages

    Publisher: Sparkhouse Family (2017)

    ISBN: 978-1-5064-1785-1

What to Expect: Animals, Routines, Faith

Once again, Jennifer Hilton and Kristen McCurry team up with illustrator Natasha Remmington to add yet another faith-filled board book to their collection. Like the others, this one doesn’t disappoint and is a great addition.

This board book starts with Rufus the dog visiting with his Frolic friends throughout the morning as they all get ready for the day. They comb their hair, wash their face, and eat their breakfast. As they spend this time with one another, they make a point to remember to thank God for the food that they share and for the beautiful day they will enjoy.

Routine is vital for young children. This book not only stresses this with the day-to-day practices, but also how we can incorporate God into the world of our little ones as well in a gentle, yet appropriate way. Rimmington’s colorful pictures of the different animals playing with one another provide a sense of great diversity as they are different sizes and play different roles in the story.

Overall, this story, along with the rest of the books in this series, are perfect for teaching the ways of life and how important faith formation is in shaping youngsters.
