A delightful but powerful story that offers children lifelong lessons about believing in themselves, bolstering their self-esteem, and turning the words “I Can’t” into “I Can!”

From the creative minds of Jack Canfield (co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series), an international expert on self-esteem, goal setting, success and life improvement, and children’s book author Miriam Laundry, comes the delightful but powerful story, I CAN Believe in Myself.

Publisher’s Synopsis: Molly has been chosen to be the next Star of the Day! Most kids would be excited. Molly, however, is terrified! She just can’t speak in front of her class. She worries all day. She frets all night. “I can’t . . . I can’t,” Molly convinces herself. Or can she?

I Can Believe in Myself is a book that challenges children to change the way they think. Other themes in this book include compassion, confidence, and self-esteem as Molly convinces her classmates–and even her teacher–that they can, indeed, change their perceptions and do things they never thought possible.

A great message to share with the kids in our life – learning to love yourself is important but I think it is a process that doesn’t happen overnight.

I do believe in myself now, but when I was a child I know I didn’t. This book sounds like an eye-opener for those reading it and I hope that it helps them achieve what they are looking for. One of my young nieces lost her father a couple of years ago and I know she is struggling with her identity today. I would love to win this book for her.

I can say that while growing up in foster care abusive foster care I didn’t until I ran for an office in the student body which started 7th grade which was in the late 60’s. That gave me a little then when I was out of foster care and got to live with a wonderful hard working grandma I did . I followed some of her beliefs about a woman then in my marriage I lost that but remarried and in later years got my groove back. As a former teacher and still working with children and my grandkids especially talking to my confident granddaughter who is 19 I love helping instill that needed confidence so she believes in herself as her mom wasn’t a mom so she lived with her dad and now she is 2021 princess of a city in my home state of Ca. This is one of her stands and works with many as she continues college and also works with other girls!

I would love to win this book for my daughter since last year my daughter went from a very happy, outgoing kids to a panic of not going out anymore. She started having less confidence in herself and now she is always second guessing herself and saying she can’t do things. She is starting to get better but I think if she read this book it will help her more.
