Only since having children and encouraging them to chase their dreams has she decided to chase one of her own. K. L. lives in Arizona where she helps to run a family business, is a wife and mother, and loves spending time with family and friends. She also loves reading and collecting books. On the Wild Side is the first book in The Adventures of Squishy and Boo series—named after her two little ones. She hopes you will love the message in this story and that your children will have fun on the adventure.

      I would love this for my grandchildren. I used to make up stories and read them to my little sister and her dear little friend. They were in the stories and I sent them on adventures.

      This book will spark the imaginations of young children. The illustrations show whimsy and care and I love the main characters, Squishy and Boo. Just saying their names makes on smile. My young grandkids would enjoy this tale.

      I used to rock my littlest brother every afternoon, reading to him before his nap, until he fell asleep in my lap. Such a sweet memory. It has been more than forty years now–unbelievably long ago for a memory that is so clear and feels so immediate. Those afternoons were precious to both of us.

      As a girl I loved elephants, and my sister was crazy about stuffed animals in general, far more than any doll. I now have a darling great-niece and would be delighted to give her a copy of this book and a stuffed animal to go with it.

      I have so many memories of storytelling! One is of sitting in bed with two little sisters, reading to them before bedtime in the gentle golden light. That was the beginning of many, many years of sharing books and stories.

      I’d love to win this to read with my niece who’s turning 4 in February. I always loved books as a kid and thankfully she does too so it’s an activity that we enjoy doing together!
