    Age Range: 3 – 8 years

    Hardcover Book: 32 pages

    Publisher: Sterling Children’s Books (2014)

    ISBN: 978-1-4549-0436-6

What to expect: Pugs, Pigs, and Friendship

This beautifully illustrated hardcover book tells the story of a pug in the search for a perfect pond. When he finally discovers the “perfect” pond the pigs that inhabit the pond do not want to share. However, when tragedy strikes, Percy the Pug comes to the rescue. Due to his good deed, Percy and the pigs develop an uplifting friendship which allows them to live in harmony.

The illustrations are cute and detail each animal’s emotion at the time. Due to the detailed and emotive illustrations, kids will identify with Percy when he is scared of the mama pig or happy when he finds the perfect pond.
