Snoodles in Space: Escape from Zoodletraz

    Written by Steven Joseph

    Illustrated by Andy Case

    Ages: 5-8 | 80 Pages

    Publisher: Enigami Publishing (2025) | ISBN:  979-8-9896772-3-8

What to Expect: Space, adventure, teamwork, language play, humor.

This latest installment in Steven Joseph’s alliterative comic-book adventure series returns readers to the tongue-twisting setting of Noodleham, where purple pickles power space travel and poodles marry zoodles.

Noodleham isn’t just the place to be for really cool baking and space-based noodle-themed adventures—it’s also the center of a thriving global music scene. However, the newly forged peace between Earth and the Zoodles comes under threat when Cloodle, the grand Roodle, decides he wants to be a global rock star too! In revenge for the terrible reviews he receives from the Earthlings, Cloodle decides to throw two of Noodleham’s beloved poodles, Schmoodle and Droodle, into Zoodletraz. It’s going to take a daring combination of diplomacy and noodle-powered technology for Herbie and friends to outwit the Zoodles this time!

Filled with both linguistic and situational humor, the story emphasizes teamwork and cooperation, showing readers that even the kookiest cast of characters can learn to overcome their differences and live in peace. The bright, cartoon-style comic book illustrations add to the humor, offering a noodly twist to familiar references (“Ramen Times” newspaper and “Rolling Pin” magazine) and lots of visual puns. With so much of the text dependent on the repetition of the “oodle” sound, the story oodles of fun to read aloud, offering readers a chance to laugh themselves silly even as they strengthen their pronunciation and oral reading skills.

Get ready for a fun new adventure in the series with Snoodles in Space: Escape from Zoodletraz. This latest installment promises to be a delightful addition to the Noodleham saga. Plus, kids can have extra fun listening to the free rock album download.
