Sophie and the Swans Awareness Tour is presented in partnership* with Expound Publicity and The Children’s Book Review.

Join us on a virtual book tour for Holly Peppe’s compassionate tale, Sophie and the Swans (2024 Family Choice Award Winner), illustrated by Aeron Cargill.

Follow along with us as we watch Sophie, a young girl living by a lake, form a special bond with a pair of visiting swans. When a bully targets her feathered friends, she responds with unexpected and inspiring kindness, teaching young readers a valuable lesson about handling situations with compassion rather than aggression. Sophie is an excellent role model for children learning to interact with their peers. A portion of the proceeds for the book will be donated to anti-bullying advocates.

I’d like to read this book with my grandchildren. It would help teach them about bullying. They have many years in school left and I feel this is where they will experience it the most.

I adore these contests. I send wins to my grandson that I haven’t gotten to meet, yet. He is 5, but his father (my oldest son) is a single father, a full-time student in college, AND a full-time soldier in the Army. Thanks for doing these! They help keep me connected to my grandson!
