Too much information and not enough time! I am currently in the process of moving from Washington, DC, to San Francisco, and have found that there is no time for blogging (boo!). I feel like there are so many things I want to blog about, but would be unable to do them any justice with the given time I have. So here is a sneak peak of what I hope to blog about in January ’09:

    • An exclusive interview with Emily Gravett. I was lucky to have the opportunity to meet her as she traveled the country promoting Little Mouse’s Big Book of Fears.
    • Book Reviews (way overdue): Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes, Tea for Ruby, Kenny & the Dragon, Hug Hug, Kiss Kiss, and Peter Pan: A Classic Collectible Pop-Up.

    What to Read Next:

    1. Even the littlest ones can help save the planet
    2. OK Go: Carin Berger
    3. Rickie The Raccoon Learns About Recycling: Giovanna Lagana
    4. Adventures of Riley: Amanda Lumry & Laura Hurwitz

The Children’s Book Review, named one of the ALSC (Association for Library Service to Children) Great Web Sites for Kids, is a resource devoted to children’s literacy. We publish reviews and book lists of the best books for kids of all ages. We also produce author and illustrator interviews and share literacy based articles that help parents, grandparents, teachers and librarians to grow readers. This article was written and provided by one of TCBR's regular contributors.

Holy Cow is that a great letter!

If we get kids hooked on nature, we’ll raise happy and healthy children, but we’ll also raise stewards of the earth that understand rampant consumption is no substitute for what nature provides.

      Joy to the World,
      Tim.
