The Adventurous Book of Adventure: What Happens When Kids Fall in a Hole by J. Zelen is a funny and exciting novel for all ages.  It stars a girl named Lucy Green who, tired of her “boring” life, accidentally embarks on a huge adventure when she and her cousin Jessica find a hole in the ground and fall in it.  Passing through a tunnel at the bottom of the hole, they unknowingly enter a whole world separate from our own.  On the other side, the girls are kidnapped by a spooky villain and locked in a dragon’s castle.  However, they don’t wait around to be rescued, but instead set out to prove that kindness and resourcefulness go a long way.

These books will open a ballroom door to the world of dance in its wide variety of forms, from the gypsies who migrated from India to Spain to the prima ballerina who dedicates her life to her craft.
