I have been an avid reader since childhood. In fact my parents would take books away from me as a punishment! I have so many favorites but decided to choose my go to “comfort food” of books “Five Little Peppers and How They Grew” by Margaret Sydney. The simple life the Peppers found such happiness in living always produced a feeling of warmth in my heart.
