Tis the season for baby’s first Christmas books to snuggle with on cold winter nights!

What to expect: Christmas season, first words and concepts

Baby's First Cloth Book- ChristmasChristmas, Baby’s First Cloth Book

CHRISTMAS, BABY’S FIRST CLOTH BOOK is a charming boxed set that would make a perfect gift to the new little one in your life. The festive and bold green, red and white box makes wrapping unnecessary (always a plus this time of year!) and the clear plastic window gives us a peek at the sweet book inside. This fluffy fabric book features bright Christmas colors in fun illustrations that will appeal to babies and small children, and the sounds of the crinkly material inside the fabric will delight babies. My baby immediately grabbed the pages and squealed as they made exciting new noises. The story of Baby Boo and her family enjoying the beautiful outdoors and then Santa’s surprise overnight visit is joyful and comforting. Older siblings who are learning to read will enjoy helping by reading the simple story. I especially appreciated the long stroller/carseat Velcro strap to make this the perfect holiday on-the-go entertainment.

CHRISTMAS ABC is a bright board book with all of your favorite Christmas characters and treats. C is for Candy Canes, R is for Reindeer, and of course, S is for Santa Claus. Very bright and cheerful illustrations feature Christmas characters and concepts perfect for even the littlest crawlers. The sturdy construction and spot-gloss cover heighten the holiday spirit and make this a Christmas book all babies and toddlers will be excited to get their hands and mouths on.

She likes to read, cook, dance, travel and forward pictures of spam sculptures to friends. If she could have dinner with any author, dead or alive, it would be a toss up between J.K. Rowling and Jane Austen. They would probably eat pasta. Yes, definitely pasta. For more information, visit: www.dccmealy.com You can also find her on Twitter: @dccmealy
