About The Children's Book Review

Since 2008, The Children’s Book Review has been connecting children with meaningful books. We believe — and have always believed — that not every book is for every child, but for every child, there is a book. Finding that book changes everything.

For nearly two decades, we’ve provided trusted resources for parents, grandparents, teachers, librarians, and caregivers who want to inspire a love of reading and raise lifelong learners. Our commitment to thoughtful, curated coverage has earned us recognition as an ALSC Great Website for Kids and a loyal community of readers around the world.

We’re here for the child who devours every book they can find, and for the child who hasn’t yet discovered the one that will make them fall in love with reading. Our job is to help you find it.
