I would love to win this for my granddaughter because at times like this it is important to teach children that people that are from different countries, sometimes don’t look just like us, but that’s what makes us all so beautiful. Cultural sensitivity is at paramount importance now, and we must teach our children to accept people even if they find them different.

Being multi-ethnic, myself and growing up in a military family, we moved many times during my childhood. Learning about new cultures was something I always enjoyed. People, traditions celebrated, food, art, and history knowledge is broadened and gives you a much better understanding about our world we live in. I would love to win this prize for my young niece, so that she can learn to appreciate different cultures and how wonderfully diverse our world is, like I was able to.

Learning about different cultures is very important to me because I live in New Zealand and it’s a very multi cultural country. In our family we have New Zealanders , Samoans, Rarotongans, Canadians, Australians, Americans, Japanese and more. I think children should learn to love all cultures of the world.

I believe it’s becoming more and more important to learn about different cultures these days, especially as it seems intolerance and nationalism are on the rise in many Western countries. It’s wonderful to have our children learn about different people from around the world in peaceful, educational, and compassionate ways.

I would love to win this to help my 3 year old who will be 4 10 days before Christmas be up to date. My 10 year old who is in the 5th grade is doing most of his work online! And I really want to start to prepare my little one for all the technology he can!

Learning about different countries and their customs and cultures is very important. Once a month we pick a country and we learn about it and cook foods from that country! So fun and educational!

I would like to win this giveaway because my children are Chilean American. So far, they only identify with their American background because they were born and raised here thus far, but they do ask questions and we try to teach them about Chilean culture regularly. It is important for them to accept others who are from different places, just like their father.
