Bizzy Bear- Do-It-Yourself DayBizzy Bear: Do-It-Yourself Day

    Written by Nosy Crow

    Illustrated by Benji Davies

    Age Range: 0 -3

    Hardcover Book: 8 pages

    Publisher: Nosy Crow Ltd. (2017)

    ISBN: 978-0-7636-9328-2

What to Expect: Bizzy Bear, Teamwork, Tools, Projects, DIY

Bizzy Bear has been busy deep sea diving, visiting with dinosaurs and having fun on the farm. Now he is taking time to work on a fun project for him and his friends!

Benji Davies brings back yet another interactive Bizzy Bear as he hammers, measures, saws, and drills to create an out-of-this-world treehouse that seems to be able to rocket into space! Youngsters push and pull the tabs to mimic the actions of Bizzy Bear. Davies does not miss a beat with his illustrations by including the excess sawdust and the little friends (ie. the ladybug and worm) who pop up from the grass to keep on eye on things.

This interactive board book teaches children not only about teamwork, but also the ability to create things with your own two hands, and knowing that we all have this capability in each of us. This is a lesson that can never be taught too early.
