    Monsterland ReanimatedMonsterland Reanimated

    Written by Michael Okon

    Age Range: 14+

    Paperback: 250 pages

    Publisher: WordFire Press (2018)

    ISBN: 978-1614756729

What to expect: Zombies, battles, gore, page-turning suspense

In Monsterland Reanimated, author Michael Okon continues the harrowing journey that began with the opening of an ill-conceived amusement park to house vampires, werewolves and zombies. This second installment of the Monsterland series is a captivating and thrilling page-turner that picks up immediately after the amusement park implodes.

Wyatt Baldwin and his closest friends miraculously escaped from Monsterland when the monsters housed there turned on the spectators. The amusement park, designed by Vincent Konrad, a rich doctor, erupted into chaos, resulting in the deaths of thousands of visitors as well as the heads of state that had been invited to the park’s opening. What had originally seemed like an isolated event at the California Monsterland was actually a well-orchestrated global coup to wrest control from democratically elected governments and concentrate power in the hands of Vincent Konrad and his co-conspirators.

Against this backdrop, Wyatt and his family spend a few weeks holed up in their home as they wait for more information. Limited communication and dwindling supplies force Wyatt to leave the comfort of Copper Valley and travel to Stocktonville, the next town over, to see what he can find out. He is joined by four friends on a journey that is fraught with tension and suspense. What they find out when they reach their destination will turn their world upside down as they realize that the life they had once known will never be the same.

This fast-paced thriller will keep readers in suspense as the action dramatically unfolds. Sure to delight fans of dystopian fiction, science fiction and horror, Monsterland Reanimated is a worthy second installment in the Monsterland series.
