    Peek-a-ZooPeek-a-Zoo!

    By Nina Laden

    Age Range: 0 – 2 years

    Board Book: 20 pages

    Publisher: Chronicle Books (2013)

    ISBN: 978-1-4521-1175-9

What to expect: Animals, Peek-a-Boo, and Giggles

In a follow-up to the bestselling board book Peek-a-Who?,  Nina Laden creates another must-have for parents.

This colorful and interactive board book is the perfect first book for little ones. It allows children to play peek-a-boo with various animals … eliciting giggles at every page turn. It combines playtime and reading and captures children’s interest as they guess which animal is behind the next page. The colorful illustrations, rhyming text, and die-cut windows help keep little ones interested; and they can’t wait to turn the page to find out what animal will be there. When I read this book to an 18 month old, she couldn’t stop laughing and pointing! At the end, the book even offers a mirror, which allows little ones to see themselves.

This book is definitely a fun way to help early development and will leave your little one’s wanting to come back to read again and again. This is a must-have book for infants through 2 years old.
