    About the Author

    Alice Schertle is a poet and the author of many well-loved books for children, including the beloved, best-selling Little Blue Truck series,Very Hairy Bear, Button Up!, and All You Need for a Snowman. She lives in Plainfield, Massachusetts.

    About the Illustrator

    Jill McElmurry was the illustrator of many picture books, including her own Mad About Plaid, When Otis Courted Mama by Kathi Appelt and the best-selling Little Blue Truck series, written by Alice Schertle. She happily divided her time between the wide landscape of New Mexico and a green island in Minnesota. Jill passed away in August 2017.

      Her books are so entertaining. Love the series. Grandson would love to read this latest addition. I tried Pinning it at Pinterest but it doesn’t go through because there is no picture showing.

      I’m excited to win this giveaway because I know a child who loves trucks and cars. This book series centered around a truck might get him more interested in books. I am not familiar with these books, however.

      This book would be for my Grandson, he is 3 yrs old and loves trucks! He loves books and this would be perfect for him. I love it has a little blue truck to go with it. We always let them pick out a stuffed animal to bring to bed for their bedtime stories.

      I have a real truck that resembles ‘The Little Blue Truck’. I have had little children enthralled that there is a real truck. My Church’s preschool even had a Little Blue Truck Day. I get much joy from the children enjoying my truck.
