    Written by Matt Dragovits

    Age Range: 6-10 years

    Paperback: 50 pages

    Publisher: Page Publishing(2017)

    ISBN: 978-1-64138-088-1

What to expect: Santa’s elves, goblins, mischief, Christmas magic

In Zach’s Quest: A Tale for Christmas, readers are introduced to Zach, a mischievous young elf that finds trouble at every turn. As Christmas is fast approaching, the North Pole is a flurry of activity and Zach is asked to find a job that he’s good at and stick to it. Try as he might, Zach can’t help but cause trouble.

Santa’s workshop is powered by a mysterious Divine Reactor that channels energy from the Star of Bethlehem. In trying to help, Zach accidentally destroys the Divine Reactor, setting off a chain of events that may end up cancelling Christmas. The workshop descends into chaos as the elves fear they won’t be able to complete all the toys in time for delivery. Rather than give up, Zach figures out how he can fix what he has broken.

“…[T]here was a slim chance to make things right…It was a dangerous mission but Zach wanted to make up for the trouble he caused.”

With the help of his friends, Zach embarks on an adventure that he never expected. Although the cards are stacked against him, Zach never gives up. The author, Matt Dragovitts, skillfully conveys this nail-biter of a story. The illustrations are colorful and vividly depict the strange cast of characters that Zach encounters on his journey.

This imaginative novel will appeal to young readers, ages 6-10, that enjoy adventure, fantastic surroundings and mysterious beings, with a joyous Christmas message to boot.

    About the Author

    Matt Dragovits
    Matt Dragovits

Matt was raised in a loving Pennsylvania home where both the parents and the kids (all nine of them) couldn’t wait for Christmas to come. As soon the first nip of cold was in the air the decorations came out of the attic, Bing Crosby and Burl Ives’ songs began to spin on the record player, and Mom started the arts & crafts sessions in full force. Yes, Matt’s family loved many of the “commercial aspects” of the holiday, but even more important than those commercial traditions was the timeless Christian message associated with the birth of our Savior.

While Matt is currently very busy running Creative Force Video Productions, he and his wife continue to instill those Christian values in their three amazing children; Angelina, Elizabeth, and Luke. And now, through his illustrated Christmas Adventure book, Matt hopes to share that message of God’s love with a global population.
