Teamwork, passion, art, and storytelling combine in Pinky Doodle Bug for a sweet rhyming picture book that pops with color and heart.

Pinky, a pink doodlebug, has a passion for doodling. When she feels something is amiss, she calls upon her animal friends to come together to help her. Collectively they create stories for Pinky to illustrate. The end product is a dream come true as the importance of following one’s heart is recognized. “Let Your Dreams Fly!”

Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino and Kris Fuller have co-written a story that will indeed inspire any who read it. The characters are brimming with joy. Their teamwork allows them to follow their dreams and believe in themselves while also showcasing the importance of friendships. It can be magical when we surround ourselves with supportive friends who recognize that we each have individual talents that, when combined, can produce spectacular results. The bright, bold artwork truly bedazzles as the pages brim with friendly forest friends and plenty of flowers.

If a book that encourages dream following, creativity, and friendship is on your list, Pinky Doodle Bug makes a lovely choice! It will surely appeal to readers who enjoy making art, writing stories, love animals, or who have an appreciation for the color pink.
