When my kids were in elementary school, they had International Night whihc included passpots to stamp at each country represented by a child in that classroom. We learned games, dances, songs and ate food unique to that country. Flags from each of the represented countries were hung in the multipurpose room. Learning about other cultures and traditions helped them understand the countries and classmates better.
