Huge, hairy, and menacing, the Sasquatch is like something out of a horror movie. They decide they have to go back to the woods and capture it—after all, there’s a million dollars of prize money at stake. The only problem is that they’re not the only ones hunting those woods.
As Connor struggles to come to terms with his parent’s divorce, he also learns how to prioritize, be his own person, and make wise judgments about the world around him. Readers will empathize with his frustrations, determination, and convictions—even when he turns out to have been wrong. Simple black-and-white sketches feature at the beginning of each chapter, bringing the rich camping and countryside scenes to life while the story moves quickly thanks to both emotional and plot-driven tension.

About the Author
Roxanne Seubert lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, daughter, and three fur babies. She fell in love with writing in the second grade when her English teacher asked the students to write a short story and publish their work in a book.
Her passion for writing began when she read her book out loud to a group of kindergarteners. Watching the children’s faces light up with wonder as she read her book was the real treat – to know that kids could be inspired through the art of storytelling.
Since then, Roxanne has written numerous poems, short stories, and novels shared with friends and family. This is her first major published work, with many more to come.
